Great big thank you to Cardinal Foley School and the St. Denis Knights of Columbus for coordinating a Mother’s Day drive for Mothers’ Home!

Mothers' Home is experiencing a bit of a baby boom! With two newborns and two on the way, we have an urgent need for Similac Sensitive baby formula. We are also in need of newborn baby clothes. We have updated our Amazon Wish list, and also have created a new list with Target for formula and infant clothing. We are so grateful to our friends from the East Lansdowne Seventh Day Adventist Church who continue to support us with baby and household drives. They have been a steady, reliable source for needed donations throughout the pandemic and now as we slowly get back to normal. Thank you to Pastor S L Fordham and all the members for their donations and love for our moms and babies.

This week we kicked off our Annual Fundraising Appeal. Our Appeal is critically important to us this year due to the cancellation of our fundraisers during the pandemic. Funds raised from our appeal help to offset operating expenses and allow us to continue to provide outreach to women and children in need. Please consider a donation if you are able. A special THANK YOU to Women of Harmony and the Media Fellowship House for including Mothers' Home in their MLK Day collection of baby items and women's hygiene products. Items we all take for granted but are not easily accessible for so many women. Thank you to all who donated for filling our closets with these essential items and reminding our residents of all the good people who care about them
