Mothers In Charge, Inc Since May 2003 has supported families who’ve lost loved ones to violence. The organization has supported hundreds of families during their darkest moments. I personally have committed my life to this. I really know personally the devastation and pain when your child or loved one has been murdered. I have made sacrifices to help families grieve but also to heal. I allowed a flyer to be posted on my site because a coworker asked. I never intended to cause... grief or pain to a bereaved mother, and as one stated, I should have looked into what I was allowing to be placed on my site. I didn’t know our logo was attached to the flyer, and the content which suggested we were a part of the rally, NO!! My deepest apologies go out to the family that was impacted here, they know MIC has for years always supported them. This was a error on my part, for which I am sorry. -Dr. Dorothy Johnson-Speight-
