Playground-Schoolyard now open at Mount Carmel. Ages 3.5+ (born between 1/1/2015 and 6/30/2016). Sorry this is a pilot program and we have to stick to the above birth dates. We have closed 10U and made it a wait list only as we have a full roster. There are a few open places for 6U co-ed, 8U co-ed, 12U co-ed. We are closing 15U without a team, only one player registered and we needed 15 or more. 5U Schoolyard remains open as no schedule is needed for that age group. The 5U players will be part of a jamboree-based program, no travel. Attention soccer parents Time is running out to register your soccer player for the mc ayso. Registration is ending March 1st. We are still in need of U10 and U12 players to make a full team. Parents, looking for at least one u10 coach and one u12 coach because without a volunteer’s coach for each team, we won’t be able to create a team for the kids to play. In need of coaches and players Coaches needed for 8U (2 or more), 10U (2 coaches), 12U (1 coach), 15U (2 coaches). Training will be provided for parents that have little or no experiences with soccer. Players needed for 6U (4 or more), 8U (4 or more), 10U (4 or more), 12U (6 or more), 15U (a full team plus subs).... If the above do not get filled we will have no choice but to revise the players on wait lists. To be blunt that could result in a cancelled registration. If today were the deadline last day we would have one team each at 6U and 8U and nothing else. And refunds and cancellations would go out to over a dozen parents. Mount Carmel community. We are getting close to establishing a board to run the region but we aren't moving along with player registration and volunteer coaches. At the moment we should be able to field at least 1, or 2 teams at 6U as we have a commitment from coaches at 6U. We are nearly at a level to support a team at 8U but there is no coach yet although one parent is hoping to join. But as we have said before, each team needs 2 coaches. 10U and 12U have a few kids on the... wait list but neither are near enough to field teams and neither as a coach and we specifically said all teams need 2 coaches to each team. Spring Registration is OPEN with a wait list policy explained below. $30 per player with 2nd/3rd siblings discounted. Now through 3/1/2020 for 6U-12U (no coaches, no teams) and through 4/1/2020 for 5U (we have a coach for the 5U Schoolyard program). We also hope to offer 1-2 library in-person events (credit card only, no cash) for those with internet access issues. Wait list is active until we get TWO coaches per team for 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U. Once we have coaches filled the wai...t list will be removed and you'll be guaranteed a place on a team. Refer to the age group chart for your child's birth year and age group they'd play in. Mount Carmel AYSO Community. We are working hard to try and have a new RC and board members in place by the end of this month. This is critical to maintain MCAYSO. We are also trying to create a registration window. For those looking to register for Spring 2020 we hope to have it open by the weekend BUT we have to have volunteers to support the program; coaching the players means parents registering as a volunteer, completing requirements and sending their clearance forms. ...A Registrar will be needed to help you with registration, and coordinate with the RC. A Treasurer will be needed to maintain accounting and ensure vendors are paid. A Child Volunteer Protection Advocate will be needed to make sure volunteers follow mandatory PA-state and AYSO requirements. Coach Admin, Ref Admin, Safety Director. All essential to any AYSO region. Because of the uncertainty of the past few months we ask you bear with us while we work to resolve these matters. Registration will definitely open but will begin as a wait list to reduce the possibility of refunding parents. We hope this will be purely temporary.
