Mount Carmel Community Garden 30.10.2020

Just a quick note to anyone that is still tending their beds... the rain barrels still have water in them, you just need a bucket or watering can to transport it to your plants. I will post when the rain barrels will be emptied and stored for the winter.

Made a quick stop at the garden this evening. The rain barrels are full! If anyone has some spare time and a watering can or bucket the plants would appreciate a drink!

Rain barrels are installed at the Mt Carmel Community Garden. The water is non-potable! Because it comes off the roof ....Do Not Drink the water!! It is for ...watering the garden only. Do not give it to your pets. Since the barrels are gravity fed only, you will need a watering can to fill from the hose. There is no pressure to take the water all the way to the beds. Let’s hope for more rain to fill them up! See more
