February is Black History Month To honor, to remember, and to reflect on history made, and history in the making. #BHM2021

This year MRS Audio Visual was proud to produce the very first VIRTUAL BROADCAST for the Eastern Pennsylvania Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC). It was the organization’s 30th Annual Excellence in Awards program. The broadcast took place on-site at ABC’s regional office in Norristown. For this program, we enhanced the setup with black pipe and drape, a large flat screen monitor and additional lighting. The broadcast was carried over the Vimeo streaming platform... and it included live appearances by the organization’s president and staff who presented over 24 awards in multiple categories to some of the area’s premier builders and contractors. Each award was accompanied by a video of the winners. We want to thank ABC for the opportunity to continue our business relationship with them and broadening our audio visual services in the process. Meet Kevin Wayns MRS Audio Visual Producer and Production Engineer Kevin Wayns is an AV specialist who can truly do it all. Kevin started working in the audio visual field over 30 years ago. In addition to producing various live and virtual productions, Kevin is a certified technology specialist who has a background in audio engineering and has designed, installed and maintained major sound systems for organizations across the Delaware Valley. Kevin is a Philadelphia native ...who graduated from Central High School and presently resides in Montgomery County. Recently, Kevin spent close to 15 years working as the Head Audio Engineer at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Kevin has been a part of some of the largest music festivals that Philadelphia has ever hosted, and has toured the world with several music artists including Chaka Khan, Brian Mcknight and Noel Pointer just to name a few. Kevin worked on a local production of MSNBC’s Hardball Live and with the White House on President-elect Obama’s Governors Meeting at Independence Hall in December, 2008. Kevin has always seen himself as a problem solver. There isn’t a challenge that he’s not ready for. His goal will always be to provide a successful event for every client he works with. Kevin has headed some of MRS Audio Visual’s largest productions. These include the MainLine Chamber of Commerce Annual Red Carpet Event as well as the Associated Builders and Contractors Excellence in Construction Awards. This year Kevin led the MRS streaming team in this year’s virtual broadcast of ABC’s Awards program and Overbrook Golf Club’s Annual Board Meeting. The MRS Audio Visual sales, management and technical teams are always thinking of ways to make every event memorable for our clients. With every corporate or private event we undertake as a company, there is always some degree of preparation that needs to happen for each and every one of them to be successful.
