1981-2021 . . The effects of COVID-19 have not bypassed Ms. Carol's Center for Dance. Our beloved Carol Cubbage Davis laid a solid foundation upon which we need your help to continue to build. The support we receive from wonderful people like you will help us to continue to provide the quality and affordable dance instruction we have provided for the last 40 years.... Are you ready to dance? WE ARE! . . CCD will resume In-Person classes on Tuesday, January 19th! .... . We will continue to take the same safety precautions in accordance with the CDC, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia health guidelines, including wearing masks, social distancing (spacing between dancers) in both studios, temperature checks, hand sanitizing upon entering the lobby/studios and during classes, sanitizing of surfaces, bathrooms, door knobs and acrobatic mats before and after classes and utilizing separate entrance and exit. . . With heavy hearts, we are sending prayers and love to Ms. Lashidah, as her mother, Ms. Christine has transitioned. Although we are saddened by this news, we honor and celebrate her. . . Ms. Christine joined our PCD/CCD team when Lashidah was 7 years old. She has been an integral part of our family from the beginning. Whether it was teaching line dances for our Saturday night fundraisers or helping with quick changes during recitals with our backstage crew. Ms. Chris was always there to lend a hand! She also was our Adult Hip-Hop instructor and knew how to make every dancer shine. Her infectious smile and kindheartedness will continue to be our light. We love you Ms. Chris! Peace and love to Lashidah, Londyn and the rest of the family.
