Mt. Davis Challenge

State representative Brett Miller has introduced HR Bill 765 that has passed the PA state house and will be introduced in the state senate. 2 local townships have refused to comply with the wording the current PA DOT Special Use Permit requires. HR 765 will eliminate that requirement and if all goes well we will be able to obtain the Special Use Permit once again. Too late for us this year but looking good for next year. We have made the decision to cancel the race this year. With the uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic it would be difficult to provide a safe event for racers and volunteers. We also have sponsors that have had a very difficult past few weeks and we have always been grateful for their past and future support. We are sorry and disappointed but we do plan on holding the race next year on July 25, 2021. Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you next year.
