Just a typical Monday morning here at Muddy Creek Veterinary Service. We are answering phones and giving lots of positive attention to our patients at the same time. Pat is pictured talking with a client while petting "Goose" who is here at clinic being treated by Dr. McCleary.
The doctors and staff at Muddy Creek Veterinary Service would like to wish a HAPPY NEW YEAR to all our clients and patients. Here's hoping 2021 looks a lot brighter than 2020!!! Please remember to keep checking your animals as the weather gets colder.
We were able to send this handsome goat named "Joseph Abraham" home to his owner's today after being here at the hospital for 22 days for a blocked urinary tract. His owners seemed very happy to see him and he looked happy to see them too!!! And we had to show this adorable pig getting looked over by Dr. Poteet Scampton and Megan our Vet Tech. WE WOULD LIKE TO WISH ALL OF OUR AMAZING CLIENTS AND PATIENTS A HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! STAY SAFE AND WARM AND REMEMBER TO KEEP CHECKING YOUR ANIMALS.
Ready for some "cuteness overload"? Here are 2 Kune Kune pigs (pronounced "cooney, cooney") that came in for surgery this morning. Just a little " pig tidbit" -- Kune Kune means "fat and round". These two are sleeping off the anesthesia but we couldn't resist taking a picture of them together. Just adorable !!!
This big, handsome guy came to the clinic for x-rays this morning on his swollen foot. We were able to send him home on medicine for the foot. We know Thanksgiving is coming up soon but this big guy will not be Thanksgiving dinner.
This is so appalling -- please read. If anyone has information on this please call the Harford County Sheriff's office.
WHAT A GORGEOUS SKY THIS MORNING!!! Our doctors and staff start very early in the morning so that our clients can call in first thing and have their sick animals seen as soon as possible. If you have a sick animal that needs to be seen that same day please call our office as early as possible so that we can arrange our schedule accordingly. We start answering the phones at 7 AM so the earlier you call the easier it will be to schedule you for that same day.
Remember the mule, back in June, that tore a huge flap on it's nose. Dr. McCleary sewed up the nose and we were all curious as to how it looked now. Dr. McCleary was called out to the owner's farm recently and took a picture of the mule's nose. You can hardly notice the scar and the mule acts like it never happened. Good job Dr. Kelsey!!!
