That’s the name of my set designs. It all started in a shoe box! "I’ve blown up on TikTok recently with the 'Ratatouille' musical trend going on.* I did set designs for that and it went viral, even getting the attention from Disney on Broadway themselves! I got 3 million views on my videos and a following of 84k people! It’s really been crazy!" * "'Ratatouille' musical trend?" you ask? ALUMNI ALERT: A group of theatre alumni has launched a new theatre collective called Theatre of the Electric Mouth, which has released its first video, "Ask the Void," directed by Davis Alianiello '13. The absurdist audio drama imagines a world where those seeking advice in life and love call into The Void and bask in the guidance of that cantankerous abyss. Watch it below! Zach Trebino '11 founded the collective, which also features Alianiello, Patrick Brzezinski-Scorese '1...1, Andrew Clark '12, Helen Laser '16, and Sam Turret '13. Says Andrew Clark: "Theatre of the Electric Mouth (or ThEM for short, as in 'Oh god, it’s ThEM!') is a new theatre collective put together with writers, sound engineers, directors, actors, composers, and all sorts of folks. We’re committed to traversing the new normal and finding ways to create theatre and performance via auditory expression. "Personally, after New York theatre shut down, I felt really stymied. Creating audio dramas with ThEM has allowed me to continue stretching my creative muscles while working with old friends and making a lot of new ones from all over the world. We've got a lot more finished pieces coming up that we're intensely proud of and excited to unleash."
