Special Christmas Eve Services will be provided by the Muncy Valley United Methodist Charge. Thinking outside of the box during the social distancing orders, we will hold a special "Drive-In" Christmas Service at the Valley Church at 6:00 PM. Families are to park and stay in the warmth of their vehicles while listening to Pastor John Neiswender tell the Christmas Story through your own radio. Although this will be different from the way we have done Christmas Eve programs i...n the past, it will be exciting to witness the power of the Lord with the help of modern technology. Please come and invite your family, friends and neighbors. Christmas services are open to everyone. For those who do not like to travel at night or can not leave your home. Pastor John will also provide a Facebook Live Service at 9:00 PM on our charge Facebook page. It is our pleasure to provide these services to the community to commemorate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas !!

As by order from Bishop Jeremiah Park and Superintendent, Rev. Dr. Paul Amara, of the Susquehanna Conference United Methodist Churches, all in-person service, including Hemlock, Valley and St. Paul's to be CLOSED for the remainder of this year. It is the hope to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 Virus among our church family and the community. During this time, Pastor John Neiswender will hold Advent and Christmas Services via Facebook Live! The Angel Tree program has begun for the 2020 holiday season. This is our 7th year participating and it is so wonderful to have the community support to continue this each year I still have a few angels left if you are interested in choosing one. Please contact me and I can arrange for you to get a list. Or if you are not a shopper but would like to help the program monetary donations are welcome. Cash is accepted or write out a check to "SCCYS Children's Fund". Either way... is greatly appreciated! All unwrapped gifts and the list need to be returned back to me no later than Sunday December 13th. Thank You in advance for your willingness to make the holidays special for the children! Reminder that in person church at Hemlock, Valley and St. Paul's will be canceled on Sunday November 29th in attempt to stop the spread possible COVID germs after the Thanksgiving Holiday. It is our commitment to protect our church family. You can watch the real time services on Facebook Live at 9:30 am or later on You Tube. Church will resume the following Sunday.
