Jew-ish Dinner for take out (preorder at link in bio) or reserve for outdoor seating (call or email). Pictured here is the Manischewitz-poached apple & walnut frangipane pie. Outside dining means Manischewitz ice cream on the plate. Inspired by the charoset of the ashkenazi Seder plate, I suppose that makes this Judeo-Egyptian-French cuisine. It’s true, drinking Manischewitz is rather gross, but it’s SO very Jewish. It was the only bottle of booze I ever saw in my Mom Mom’s house. But still, what drinking wine would YOU pair with this plate? #pretzelkneydl #yallamusi Photo by @mikeprince85

The Jew-ish Dinner is available for take out this evening from 6-7:30pm. Order now at FRIZWIT.com, link in bio. Call to reserve a table outside. The Kasha Farfalle aka buckwheat bowties. Fresh milled malted buckwheat from @deercreekmalt is folded into our clearly favorite pasta shape. The varnishkes are croquettes which are still dumplings, more or less, of chopped liver. The sauce is a very lemony schmaltz. A very Jewish nod the the very lemony butter bowties that put Musi on the map. Finished with lots of dill cause dill is Jewish. #yallamusi #pretzelkneydl #relationshipcuisine Photo by @mikeprince85

MEATBALL SAMMIE!!! and a charred and pickled long hot. That’s about heaven right there I’ll tell you what. A blend of pork, beef, and rabbit, the balls are fried and sandwiched in a peach tomato sauce seasoned with a hint of coffee and cardamom with provolone cheese. Sorry, way too fancy a description. How’s this: FRIED MEATBALLS ON A HOAGIE ROLL WITH HOMEMADE SAUCE AND PROVOLONE CHEESE!!! ... How’d you describe it? Say so in the comments... by @mikeprince85 See more

One of our favorite aspects of private dining at Musi is getting to play. It’s going down rabbit holes. It’s about following an idea to see where it leads. And it’s about sharing these stories with you in person, as your the only table for the night. THERE IS NO CELERY EMOJI! The celery course starts with the significance of celery soda. It is paired with a savory celery sorbet. The Jew-ish Dinner at the Chef’s Counter, reach out to schedule yours. #pretzelkneydl #yallamusi

Tonight, Sunday 10/11, we’re closed for outdoor dining, curbside take out remains available. Tonight we’re hosting the Chef’s Counter, a further exploration of the Jew-ish Dinner. It includes complimentary pours of these special sauces: 2008 Pomme de Galilee and Honey Krupnik from @jullius.craft.distiller. Joov and I go way back to the Minzar/Basra days, for obvious reasons - it’s all in the same family. And I’m beyond excited to share that with you, at the Counter.
