Dear Santa, All I want for Christmas this year is a home of our own. I want the kids to have a yard to play in and the ability to have a pet! I want a place I can paint the colors I want and change the way I want. I have been very good this year because I have saved up for a down payment and closing costs and after move-in costs. I just now need the house! If this is your letter to Santa, give me a call so we can schedule some walk-throughs to see how you can help Santa narr...ow down the house you need! Here’s a great article to give you some ideas about first time home buying. https://www.nerdwallet.com//tips-for-first-time-home-buyers

Just got back from Arizona! I was there for a friends’ wedding. It was amazing, not just the wedding and seeing friends but seeing the real estate. Everyone here in Pennsylvania who are buying a home should consider themselves lucky! Prices out there are outrageous! A small one bedroom one bath home on 5 acres is $250,000! The housing market in our area is reasonable compared to some areas! Give me a call and we can find you a new home!

Fall is here! Changes are coming! This winter is to be a hard winter according to the Farmers Almanac. Are you prepared? Here are some tips to prepare your home for winter: - Have your furnace, ac, and chimney cleaned. This helps your appliances to work more efficiently. It also can help to prevent chimney fires! - Check your windows and doors for air leaks. Add foam insulation strips to help prevent heat loss. - Spring clean to clear out all summer dust bunnies. Win...ter will bring its own bunnies while your home is closed up. Clearing out summer bunnies may help anyone with allergies. - Gather your cold weather clothes from storage and wash. This gives you fresh clean jackets ready to go for when those cold days arrive! Enjoy each season knowing there will come a time when it will be changed again! If you are looking for a home change give me a call and we can work together to get you into a new home before winter!

Ever look at websites for info on a new home? Most buyers look online first. This is great as they can weed out any that don’t seem to fit their criteria. But there is a catch! Some of the info online is not correct. Values and taxes and other pertinent info can be misconstrued. Many buyers are relying on the internet info to be correct. But until you call an agent - like me! - you may not be getting all the right info. Here is an article about the value and taxes in just one area that is being misrepresented. Please call before trusting internet info. Internet searches can be a helpful aide but don’t rely solely on it. Verify the info! https://www.cleveland.com//zillow-error-frustrates-cuyahog
