Back to making our own g2 spawn in house thanks to a proper lab and autoclave situation. Fingers crossed! Huge thanks to @northsporemushrooms for supplying great spawn over the years and for the g1 masters we use to inoculate these bags going forward. Sourcing spawn from a reputable supplier was a really good decision. Let's hope this is another!

We are absolutely thrilled to bring you treats that chef @kuhnnok dreamed up including authentic thai meal kits: crispy jerky and change mai style sausage. Oh btw did u know that chef Nok just won best chef in Philly in @phillymag ? When the lockdown decimated mycopolitan's restaurant sales, Kalaya was there to take as much inventory as they could use. We were able to donate mushrooms to kalaya's free Family Meal that ...served out-of-work restaurant workers. And we saw first hand how one courageous and generous chef can stand up to lead during a tragic event. Chef's like Nok who cherish their workers, farmers, and industry are exactly who we need to turn difficulty into opportunity for growth, connection, cooperation, and ultimately a more delicious and sustainable food scene in our city. Mushroom season is over til September, and we'll miss u. When we return in September we may just do a mushroom jerky collab with Kalaya in joy box!!!! HAGS
