Let's support our neighbors -- HUNE is breaking ground on a new park near NSNP! Update on an exciting project coming to our neighborhood from @muralarts! Neighborhood Portraits is a community arts project grounded on the celebration of the legacy and essence of the Norris Square neighborhood. Please sign the petition in our bio by Friday, June 19th!

Our neighbor, HUNE, a local parent center for families with special needs, has partnered with Jefferson University to design and build a local park for our neighbors just a few blocks from NSNP! We’re honored to share that NSNP has received a PHL COVID-19 Fund grant. A collaboration between @PhillySJUnited, @PhilaFound, and @cityofphiladelphia, the PHL COVID-19 Fund is providing financial assistance to nonprofits like ours during the #coronavirus crisis. In times like these, it’s important to acknowledge our funders. Last spring, we were awarded the KidCents Regional Grant from the @riteaid Foundation totaling in $15,000. Thanks to the generosity of the Foundation, we are supporting our Urban Garden Youth Program in the West Kensington Neighborhood of Philadelphia. Thank you so much to our supportive community and The Rite Aid Foundation for their contributions as we continue to change the lives of our students!

Summer is busy at NSNP! Last week we took our 35 summer interns canoeing, many of them for the first time. We can’t do this work without you. Please consider supporting our students!
