4 months ago I started a treatment for our middle son, Chance who is 9, called Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT). He is very near-sighted (can't see well far away). His prescription is so bad that normally without glasses he can't see farther than about 10 inches from his face. Some of you may have noticed that in my pictures he is not wearing glasses that he has worn since he was 3. What he has been doing is wearing hard contacts to sleep at night that correct his vision by r...eshaping his eyes while he sleeps so that when he wakes up in the morning and takes the contacts out, he can see all day without any need for glasses!!! It will also help keep his eyes from getting worse over time as he grows, kind of like braces for his eyes. He put our results to a big test today with target shooting and he was so proud to tell me about his near perfect shots with little practice or much previous experience with shooting. This has been such a rewarding process not only for me to help my son, but for me to broaden my ability to help others as well!! Hoping to share testimonies of 2 other kiddos that recently started CRT at our office soon and looking forward to offering this treatment to all of my patients!! #ilovewhatido
