This is our St. John's UCC chimes concert for Wednesday, June 9, 2021. This is a recording of the same concert by Andrew Paulson being played on our church grounds on Wednesday at 12 noon. Even if you attend the concert, you should take time at home to listen to this concert here. From Andrew Paulson: "Today brings about the final Wednesday Noon Chimes Concert. Thank you to all that have listened in-person and/or on-line, safely showing that fellowship and worship can occur ...amidst a pandemic. The final concert is a journey from March 2020 to June 2021, the 16 months that represent our time without in-person worship and our time gathered outside each Wednesday. The hymn chosen for each month is either one that was sung that month in worship or is one that represents the feelings expressed by all of us at St. John’s during that particular time. The concert begins with In the Bulb There is a Flower, a hymn that sustained us during the beginning of the pandemic, and concludes with Praise God, the Giver and the Gift, a beloved hymn that will be sung during our first in-person gathering on June 13th. Thank you for journeying with us through the pandemic via hymnody today.
