Salmon is the star of Jane’s go to 15 minute dinner and we’re going to show you how to do it! Measure with your taste buds You will need:... canned salmon (our favorite is @wildforsalmon, 1 can yields two salmon cakes) saltine crackers arrowroot starch (any starch will work, this is a binder and adds some crisp) mayo pepper lemon juice celery (if you have it) onion (if you have it) The last two items are optional but add a nice flavor and crunch! Instructions Smash up desired amount of saltine crackers and add to a bowl Drain and add canned salmon Chop desired amount of onion and celery if you have it and add to bowl Add a squeeze of lemon juice and a dash of pepper but no salt because you already have saltines! Add one tablespoon of arrowroot powder (or other starch) and enough mayo to bind it all together Stir until combined, form into patties, and pan fry. Enjoy with vegetables on the side or make them into salmon burgers with fries! Optional: add a little squeeze of djon mustard into the mix before forming into patties or mix some djon and local honey together to make a delicious sauce to go with it.
