The Class of 2021 will celebrate their New Brighton Area High School Graduation Ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2021. The ceremony will be live streamed to our YouTube channel. New Dads Matter virtual classes start on Monday June 7th. New In-Person Beaver classes will start when enough dads are enrolled. Open enrollment is every Thursday and Friday by walk in or appointments.
Thursday, June 3, 2021 is the last day in-person. Schools will operate on a normal schedule that day.
On May 27th Jensyn Main and Danielle Goudas represented New Brighton High School and the Youth Ambassador Program (YAP) at the Beaver County Courthouse where they spoke to the Beaver County Commissioners about the mental health challenges that high school students faced during the Covid Pandemic.
Students participated in the Memorial Day program this morning to honor all deceased and living service men and women. Alex Albanese recited the Gettysburg Address and Dane Fasick played Taps.

Today was the last day of Red Ribbon Week for the students at New Brighton Elementary. Students were encouraged to wear a Halloween or Fall Shirt because "We Scare Bad Choices Away!" Even though we couldn't celebrate Halloween with our usual festivities, it was so fun to see the Halloween shirts that students wore today to keep the spirit of the holiday alive! Thank you New Brighton students and staff for participating in Red Ribbon Week this week! And thank you to our 5th grade speakers who helped with the virtual announcements: Alizae, Brody, Adelynn, Austin, and Whisper. You did a great job!!
School is cancelled today and will be a full virtual day for all students. There was a major power outage near our campus and it has shut down our campus. We will post information and assignments to Schoology by 9:00 am. We understand some families and our staff are without power, if you are in this situation please do your best. We will work over the coming days to catch anyone up or was not able to complete work today due to no power at their home.
Red Ribbon Week is midway through. Wednesday was wear a shirt with a positive or motivational message to show I make healthy choices to promote positive outcomes! We had huge participation today with some great positive messages!
Advanced Placement (AP) forms and test fees are due in the Counseling Department by Friday, November 6, 2020. Forms are available in the Counseling Department.
Red Ribbon Week continues in the elementary school this week. On Tuesday students were asked to wear Red, White, and Blue to say, "I Elect to be Drug Free!" Wednesday students are encouraged to wear a shirt with a positive or motivational message.
Today kicked off Red Ribbon Week at the elementary school. Students were encouraged to wear Red to show they are "'Red'-y to Live a Drug Free Life!"
