It was fun coming out of retirement to do this Cruisin'.

It's retirement day. I can hardly believe it. For someone who works with words, I have no words at this moment -- just thanks for the memories.

Thanks to everyone who made suggestions for this column through the years. I have traveled to some amazing places and even though I am retiring Thursday, look for a Cruisin' visit to various destinations from time to time.

Kindness and compassion for others makes me smile.
