Our Brussels sprouts and cucumbers are really coming along! Some kiddos took home some cucumbers today! Yahoo!

It's that time of the year again for Nebinger Elementary School.... Planting time!! We've planted Brussels sprouts, tomatoes, broccoli, watermelon, snap peas, green beans, and green peppers so far!

Harvest day is today! The Nebinger students will taste test pasta and pesto, make some salsa, and guess the plant using ingredients from our beautiful edible garden :)

Our beautiful garden has flourished tremendously :) we have peppers, bell peppers, and cucumbers, TONS OF CUCUMBERS ready to harvest! Give the garden a thorough watering and then harvest what you wish :)

Summer garden volunteer meeting MOVED TO THURSDAY NIGHT Thursday, June 20 7-8 pm at Nebinger School

COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS Anyone interested in helping out with the garden (and harvesting veggies!) this summer: we will be having an informational meeting on Tuesday, June 18 at Nebinger School from 7-8 pm. Stop by the school office, location TBD

Volunteers needed tomorrow, May 7 for Garden Bed Assembly! Anyone who would like to donate their time, please arrive between 1-3 pm (sign in at the front desk of Nebinger School). Thank you :-)

Also don't forget Plant Date May 17th! Plenty of need and love for community volunteers to help out as we embark in planting our seedlings and learning about edible gardening :) Details to come!

Hi Friends of Nebinger! For anyone interested in helping out, please mark May 7, 8, and 9 on your calendars! We will be receiving the materials to build the beds, as well as the soil, and we will need volunteers to help with assembly. Exact dates/times will be announced soon!
