Just arrived in New Hope! THIS IS NOT THE NEW NESHAMINY CREEK IPA (6.6%): You know that we know that you also know that we all know that this is not the new IPA. Brewed with Pilsner, 2-row, White Wheat, and Light Crystal malts, hopped with Simcoe, Centennial, and Mosaic, and then dry hopped with more Mosaic. We used Vermont yeast for this ripe one. It’s not just the name thats confusing with this one, it’s also unfiltered. So it’s not hazy. But it’s also not not hazy. Here...’s what mattersTHE TASTE. This beer has a softer bitterness from late addition hop charges, and bright, juicy hop flavors. We taste huge tangerine and ruby red grapefruit notes, with a lingering tropical and citrusy finish. We smell an immediate citrus freshness, with a zesty zing of hip character on the nose. We taste a melon-mango fruitiness upfront that helps enhance the London Yeast character, which promotes a softer, rou...nder mouthfeel. As you continue to drink, a zesty fruit character persists, leading to a lemongrass and herbal-tea brightness.
