Despite our best efforts to combat the kennel-related stress, Siva’s mental health continues to diminish while in our care. We have reached out to over a dozen ...different rescues, on numerous occasions, asking for assistance with placement, but no one is able to offer Siva the safe-haven he is in need of. At this point in time, we have exhausted every available resource to find placement for Siva. We are asking you once more to share Siva’s post to help him find his forever home. Every dog handles the stress of a kennel environment a little differently; in some dogs you notice a physical deterioration and in others, it is a deterioration of the mind. For Siva, it is the latter. He is depressed, anxious, and his behavior in the kennel is worsening. We want nothing more than to find Siva his forever home, but time is of the essence to do so. We ask that you please share this post to help Siva break free of the chain link kennel that he has spent far too much of his life in. Siva is a neutered male Staffordshire/Sharpei mix just over a year old. He cannot be placed in a home with small animals, but will be okay in a home with a large-breed female dog. He is good with men, women, and children. Siva is a smart cookie and has been working on multiple basic obedience commands, as well as improving his leash manners. Siva is also housebroken, but may need a refresher due to being in a kennel for so long. Edward Imler's primal wood engraving from the early 20th century for $500. The Metropolitan Museum of Art has 2 in possession similar to this one. Imler was born in central Pennsylvania in the 1890's and is one of our very favorite artists.
