New Alexandria Public Library

The time has come for our Library to reopen to in person service. Please read the picture below for the date of the reopening, the days we will be open and times. Also, please be aware we will be following all appropriate guidelines. Hope to see everyone soon.

Please be aware of the changes to the curbside service:

Hi all! The library Will be offering curbside service on Wednesdays from 1 to 3. The service will begin on Wednesday, August 19 if you have material at the library that you placed a hold on you will be able to pick it up during these hours if you need material from our library please call and leave your name and material title no later than Monday of the week you wish to pick it up. please call when you have arrived for your material and I will be happy to bring it out to you. The library will remain closed at all other times and no one will be allowed into the library other than the employee.

Attention all patrons please read: All Westmoreland Public Libraries to close following State announcement On Friday, March 13th, 2020, Pennsylvania's Governor Tom Wolf announced that all K-12 public schools are to close starting Monday, March 16, 2020 for two weeks in an effort to slow the spread of the Coronavirus.... Later that day, Pennsylvania Department of Education Office of Commonwealth Libraries announced that all public libraries should follow this guidance as well starting Saturday, March 15 through Sunday, March 29, 2020. All patrons are asked to please keep all items until the libraries re-open. All overdue fines and fees will be waived during this time. We will also auto-renew your items. It’s that time of year, mark your calendar and be sure to take advantage of the Annual Blood Testing at the Library on March 7,2020 from 7am till 10am!

Just an update for our Library. The board has decided to remain closed until further notice. We will happily accept any materials that need returned to any Library in our drop bin where they will be properly handled and dispersed. Thank you for your understanding during this unique time.
