What kind of counselor would you be?

We are always looking for ways to impart life skills. This might be one. Or, maybe not.

Those who have been around the Island for a while may have met Phil Sommerfeld. Phil was a great friend to the ministry here. Back when he was still running Roofers Supplies all we had to do was make a phone call and all the materials we needed for a roof would show up on a Roofers Supplies truck. He was also very capable with sound systems and made several donations in that area. The windows in the dining hall were purchased through his company at his cost. Phil continued to be a regular supporter of the camp. We will miss him, but we know that he is with his Savior and we will join him there, some day. Below we have shared a post from his church in Florida.

We are always looking for new activities that our campers will enjoy and will also be safe. Take a look at this one. We think it has possibilities.
