New Wilmington Mission Conference 30.09.2020

Need a daily devo? Here's one that Trex and Ellen use and highly recommend: https://pray-as-you-go.org/home/ Pray as you go is a daily prayer session, designed to go with you wherever you go, to help you pray whenever you find time, but particularly whilst travelling to and from work, study, etc. A new prayer session is produced every day of the working week and one session for the weekend. It is not a 'Thought for the Day', a sermon or a bible-study, but rather a framework ...for your own prayer. Lasting between ten and thirteen minutes, it combines music, scripture and some questions for reflection. Our aim is to help you to: become more aware of God's presence in your life listen to and reflect on God's word grow in your relationship with God It is produced by Jesuit Media Initiatives, with material written by a number of Jesuits, both in Britain and further afield, and other experts in the spirituality of St Ignatius of Loyola. Although the content is different every day, it keeps to the same basic format.

New Wilmington Mission Conference 07.08.2020

Introducing our 2017 Young Adult Speaker, Rev. Dr. Hope Lee: Dr. Hope Italiano Lee is the Lead Pastor of Kirkwood Church and The Well in Bradenton, Florida where she has "suffered for the Gospel at the beach" since 2010. Hope's heart is all about evangelism and local mission. While she has led mission teams all over the world, she firmly believes that we are all called to be local missionaries in our own neighborhoods because the ends of the earth are sometimes as close as r...ight next door. Dr. Lee came to a relationship with Christ as a result of the work and ministry of the Beth-El Farmworker Ministry in Wimauma, FL. Prior to her current call, she was a campus ministry intern at Georgia Tech, and a pastor at First Presbyterian, Fernandina Beach, FL, and Valley Forge Presbyterian, King of Prussia, PA. In addition to her work in the local church, Dr. Lee speaks frequently at national conferences across the country. She is an evangelism coach for the PC(USA), working with pastors to develop their evangelism DNA in the local church. In recent years, the focus of much of her work has been about making the Gospel and the church accessible to families of children with autism. Dr. Lee is a passionate fan of the Baltimore Orioles and John Hughes' films. She tweets occasionally @pastorhope and Instagrams even less occasionally @hopeatthebeach She does not blog, and much to the total embarrassment of her teenage daughter, still finds facebook to be an acceptable form of social media. Dr. Lee is married to Sung Ho (also a pastor) and is mom to Anna, Peter, and Maria.
