Today in class, classroom 187 used their new SMARTboard for their Scholastic News. They read about the best way to make a snowman, watched a short video on how no two snowflakes are the same and then played a game where they took turns building their own virtual snowmen. Then for some fine motor fun, they took turns measuring and mixing baking soda and hair conditioner to make fake snow to play with! They built mini snowmen and didn't have to put on coats or freeze their fingers! #doyouwanttobuildasnowman #letitsnow #newhorizonschool

The Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit is seeking to hire a substitute teacher to fill an FMLA absence for an itinerant special education teacher in the preschool early intervention program from approximately January 4, 2021 through approximately March 26, 2021. Eligible candidates will possess PA Certification in Special Education. Early Childhood certification and experience is preferred. Acts 24, 34, 114, 151, and 168 clearances will be required before hire. A valid driver's license and personal transportation are necessary for this traveling position.
