Make a concerted effort to be generous in your evaluation of every individual. When you lift up others you will also be lifted up. Philippians 2:3-4 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

SMALL STRAWS by MARSHA BURNS: Maintain your spiritual equilibrium. External conditions can easily destabilize you, but you must find your center in your relationship with Me. There is a vast difference between the temporary and eternal. Circumstances constantly change, but I remain the same. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Stay connected spiritually with Me so that you can receive divine direction. Philippians 3:12-14 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

The enabling power of My Spirit will be freely offered through love and mercy to all who are positioned spiritually to receive it. Set yourself now to be available for this outpouring. Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

SMALL STRAWS by MARSHA BURNS: You are still waiting for the old phase to complete before you can begin a new cycle with confidence. Delays are exhausting, but soon you will be able to progress. Put a lid on impatience; it will be just a little while before the past is in the rearview mirror. Isaiah 43:18-19 Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

SMALL STRAWS by MARSHA BURNS: Make a deliberate effort to come into My presence and to worship in spirit and in truth. I will fill you and anoint you with My Spirit. Come and be one with Me where you can rise above the things of the world and all things flesh. Leave your worries behind and dwell in the place of blessed assurance. Isaiah 32:17-18 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever. And My people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.

Find your place of peace in being one with Me. You can trust that I will bring you through the maze of difficulty and uncertainty. When you judge your are judged, and when you condemn you are condemned. Make a supreme effort to exhibit godly behavior in every situation, and your lovingkindness will be rewarded. Matthew 7:2 For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. For you will be treated as you treat others.
