The first winter storm of 2020 is on its way! Attention residents: Stay safe during this winter storm and help us clear your walkways and parking lots efficiently with these tips: 1. Park cars at least 1 foot from the curb. This will allow for the sidewalk plow to clear the walkways faster.... 2. Bring your doormat inside until your area has been cleared. This will give clear access for your front doorway to be shoveled. After the storm, move your car to a spot that has already been cleared. This will allow plows to clear out your normal spot. You can move your car back to your regular spot once it has been cleared. 3. Parking lots, front door areas, and walkways will be cleared of all snow, and ice melt will be applied if needed. Shoveling will begin when the snow starts falling and will continue throughout the storm. We cannot help shovel out cars. Reminder for Newtown Place Residents: We are working on completing our Preventative Maintenance and Safety Inspection for the fall season. During this process, the Maintenance team will be changing your HVAC filter, testing GFIs, installing new batteries in your CO detector system along with performing an inspection of your apartment to ensure there are no visible leaks. You do not need to be home on this day, however, if you have a pet, please be sure it is secured in ...a crate or one of the bedrooms.
