Today is #GivingTuesday Please consider donating to Nightlight! https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx Like so many other small businesses and non-profits, Nightlight Foundation certainly had its fair share of challenges in 2020, including the inability to hold our April fundraiser - our principal source of capital raising each year. Nevertheless, we were fortunate enough to be able to open Nightlight Ice Cream, albeit for a shortened summer season. Specia...l thanks to Dave Masterson and Will, Matt and Peter Schmidt for taking every shift in order to maintain a safe environment. Our special needs student / employees were sorely missed however, and we hope to get everyone back next season. While the ice cream shop was able to generate some revenue this year, we did a small fraction of the business we typically do. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to cover our operating expenses. As many of you know, the shop fulfills an important part of our mission providing individuals with autism, and other intellectual disabilities, a place to work, socialize, and generally feel good about themselves. Please consider making a donation this Giving Tuesday to the Nightlight Foundation to help us stay on course and to keep the ice cream shop open again next year.
