In a world where kids only see others in masks....and we are told to isolate, it was very heartwarming to give kids a little bit of magic and normalcy in their lives. Everyone had the option to choose, for their level of comfort with the times, santa & mrs clause....with masks, without masks, or no santa at all! I also have digital options I will share as well!

This was such a FUN session.....how amazing to shoot at your family's farm. The WHOLE family was with us (even the pet goat, who I was in LOVE with lol and literally cried when it couldn't see 'mom') They were such a warm and welcoming family. I laughed a lot. I love our little town....I can go from back alley and city looking streets....to wide open country with AMAZINGLY gorgeous golden hour light! And this girl just brought out the beauty in both. and EVERY SINGLE SENIOR SESSION...each girl is amazingly gorgeous. I say the entire session "oh my thats gorgeous" or "oh my thats amazing" I try to keep the words under my breathe as much as possible but it just blurts out sometimes. I have 4 girls myself and making sure they have good confidence is huge for me. And I hope each senior that we photograph feels that way as well. ... This girl is gorgeous. Its busy season! And this is the BUSIEST season I have had ever. I am super thankful for being so busy, the shut down was hard and long on small businesses. So I'm working non-stop ...if I'm not working, I'm at a kids sports but thats all I do this time of year! (and I'm usually working at those too!) It was SO wonderful to see this family.....I have not seen them since high school! They are THE nicest and sweetest and funniest family....and it was wonderful catching up with... them again!! We are so blessed to have as many sports teams as we did so far this year! And I thank goodness I have an excellent assistant to help keep me organized and an excellent editor who makes the orders for me! Making the groups is a tedious process...that usually takes me a few days to get done. I constantly go back and check and change. Shade/move people. I'm quite picky!... These two groups of Freeport Area Hockey players were SO courteous and nice. Parents just as much. Took us a couple days to get everyone in but Orders are being made and ordered and their senior banners are going up in the Belmont! First time I"ll have banners at ice rink! Due to Covid restrictions, schools are being extra safe in everything, even when it comes to photos. Being able to do photos WITHOUT groups is the safest way. I was contacted to photograph ALL of Kiski Area's Fall Sports. Photographing EACH athlete one at time. With a lot of planning, shooting and editing, All of kiski fall sports safely were able to do their photos. ... Good luck everyone in the remainder of your fall season!!

I love working with seniors who want to add something special to their session...be it a musical instrument, a hobby, or a cool dirt bike they race, I love coming up with new ideas to incorporate them. Its over-share day!! I've been CRAZILY editing/answering messages every moment the kids are in school, shooting in the evenings and working at night. Social media hasn't been my top priority so be prepared for a day FULL of photos. #sorrynotsorry First up, this guy and his mom were great...laid back and actually seemed to enjoy his photo session. When you have this amazing of a family....you make me smile the entire session! These kiddos and mom and dad are THE sweetest family. I truly enjoyed my time getting to know them a little bit. It was great to photograph all of these wonderful kids. So very organized! I'm just about done making the yearly program! Which was new for me but honestly so much fun to do! And always remember...you are never too hold to hold your moms hand and wrap around her arm for family photos.... because THOSE are the moments moms live for. You kids growing up is wonderful to see but HARD on a momma's heart. You'll forever be her little baby she rocked to sleep and held just a LITTLE bit longer to soak in the love.

And from meeting little ones right after they are born....to seeing them again as a whole new person at 1! Making little friends that will come right into your arms (when they are so shy with others) is one of the best feelings there is. To have a little one trust you and TRULY like you.....

Its more than a session for me..... Its a chance to watch little ones grow, its when I become friends with these little people that grow to truly know me and enjoy our little get togethers. Its a time for laughs and for attitudes and for just being silly. ... My face hurts from smiling/laughing after these sessions. And I look forward to seeing their little faces again and again. And I hope each family that leaves their session felt like they had a great time too!

These girls are always fun to photograph. I LOVE dance. They decided to do hip hop earlier this year at their competition at AHS. I LOVE these images. The smoke bombs just add the perfect flare.... And even though the year didn't end up with the greatest end. These dancers have the most amazing costumes and dances. and the COOLEST idea....they videoed each dance with each group separately...and they are ALL gathering at the drive in to watch the recital!!! Talk about the best social distancing recital ever!!!

Its senior season! And I love shooting in some of my favorite spots that are near my studio! Pittsburgh has SO much to offer in just a few blocks. This mural is one of my MOST favorite in Pittsburgh. I am always checking it out like its the first time. Its gorgeous. ... Good luck to this guy! I've known him for SO long and have watched him grow into this great hockey player. Well we finally were able to reschedule these and about half of the originally scheduled people could attend! Wearing a mask isn't the most fun thing to do, and I made sure to schedule a half hour between each session so I could scrub everything down with bleach and spray lysol. But I had SO much fun and so many laughs getting back to work again!

Oh my how I miss my job!!!! I miss cute faces like this. I miss cuddling them as babies. I miss the laughing and the craziness of little ones. After every session, my face hurts...from smiling, from laughing. And I love it!!... excuse me as I'm recalibrating my computer. Ahhhh it’s said time and time again. Good thing we are trained to look for these! I am excited to start getting back to business. I have many waiting for hair salons to open to have their photo taken (which I would too. Have you seen me lately?) But I am currently booking seniors families and little ones in June and beyond. ... Sports are already starting to fill up (in hopes we can safely have sports soon). Can’t wait to see everyone’s faces again soon!

Excuse the language in this video...but this guy is me right now. If you are still doing sessions....YOU ARE SELFISH. Even PORCH sessions. You are not special, what you are doing is illegal in PA. We are on lockdown.... Does this really hurt my family? heck yeah. Im not sure when we will catch up for every week I am out of business. But if you think you are above the law just because you need to make ends meet?? THIS AFFECTS ALL OF US. This isn't my side gig. This provides food for my family. Pays my mortgage. Instead of us standing together there is so much arguing going on between photographers about this. To all clients of anyone: if they are willing to photograph you now, they don't care about you. They care about their bottom line. I just read about a photographer who got covid and had to go back and tell 8 newborn sessions and some senior photos she tested positive. Is it worth it? Yes I am heartbroken for each of you that is missing a major milestone or event in your life. I truly am. But this is bigger than missing photos. Please let's follow the guidelines so we can get over this as soon as we can and LEGALLY get back to business. Or more of us WILL be bankrupt in the end. You're not just hurting photographers. An update: Because of the mandatory shut down of all non-essential small businesses, things are a little hard to accommodate at the moment.. West Hills PTO Public Page My guy and me dance. ... I have been watching what west hills is doing for their fundraiser hoping it would be soon so I could just have those distributed during that time. It was pushed to May. Due to the current virus, I cannot have 230 people picking up photos. (And honestly due to the shut down its i'm sure very illegal and I could get in trouble for it)...I had mentioned at least posting these on facebook so everyone can see, but due to the school having the "no photograph" paper that parents sign, I can't possibly post someone who has completed that. And i do not have access to those. I can't do anything to jeopardize my business. And also, I do not want to possibly infect my family. I also spoke to someone at the school, no one is even allowed AT the school for me to even drop them there for pickup. I'm at a loss of what to do. So here's what I know I CAN do: Digital files: ONLY IF YOU ORDERED A DIGITAL FILE: this was not included in the price of your ticket. A 5x7 photo was. if you do not have that in your email tonight, send me a message on here. I may not HAVE your email listed on the form (that has happened a lot some only put their daughters name, grade and teacher). The email will come from [email protected] so please add that to your contact list. IF YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO MAIL YOUR PHOTOS....the cost through USPS is 7.50. I can take payment for that and ship them right to you. If you would like to UPGRADE to a digital file instead....I can do that as well. I'm so sorry for all of this. This is nothing any of us have EVER seen before in our lifetimes. Lives are put on hold. Business shut down until at least the end of april is very crippling as well to many of us. I am now a homeschooling mom of 5 kids at the moment. Feeling the stress of these times as well. I am being a teacher all day and then doing what business i can at night online. But I CAN post my kiddos....I pray we get through this as quickly as possible. I pray you all stay healthy. I pray that businesses pull through this. I pray that our kids get to see eachother in school again when its safe. I pray that seniors get SOMEWHAT of an end to their senior year. I pray that athletes can play a LITTLE of the game that they love(especially seniors who may never see a field/court again). Everyday I pray.....its all we can do.

Before the recommendations and shut down of small businesses began, I got a full week in of shooting quite a few sports.....I'll be showcasing them this week! This is the 2020 Armstrong River Hawks Softball team. Their year was starting to shape up to look like a pretty incredible season.... And as our area is being his with COVID-19, sports are being delayed and/or cancelled. Please pray for these sports. This team. So this virus is controlled soon and they can continue with what part of their season they have left. If you have ever played a sport, you know how much of an impact it makes in a kids life. Learning how to work together. Making grades a priority so you can play the game you love. And most importantly, the friendships. You spend more time with your team than you will anyone else during a season. Cheering each other on and genuinely wanting each other to succeed. This is so important to these girls. We had a great time last night at the West Hills IntermediateSchool and West Hills Primary My Guy and Me dance. We know the line is long during the dance but I promise its only because we don't rush little girls and want to make sure they are looking their best (sometimes Dads need a little help with hair or dress) and with 300+ in attendance, it makes for a long night...we take photos for 4.5 hours! Every year, we take the professional photos and set up the 'selfie statio...n' This year, we took the selfie station to a Photo Booth as well. Girls could take photos with our provided light and iPad. In a couple of hours, we will be setting up for the My Guy and Me dance for West Hills PTO Public Page. Its a family event, as my daughters are in basketball....they get to help out all night and tomorrow! We sent home just a half sheet explaining pricing for the dance but here is the whole sheet in case you want to print and 'help' dad fill it out. ... Envelopes will be available at the dance....dad can fill one out there OR bring this print out with you and we will put it into an envelope to keep it safe.

These girls are rocking it this year!!! The Armstrong Elementary Girls Basketball Association 3-6 grade teams. Coaches and players all worked hard this year to get better. Winning a lot of games and placing in tournaments. ... But its not all about the W, its all about the fun the girls have doing it. What a program!!! These kiski boys have it down!! 12 in-house teams and 4 travel teams! As always, Kiski is always courteous, respectful and funny. From coaches to parents to kids. And it looks to be like they have built a solid basketball program for now and the future!

Another first for a sport......GYMNASTICS! I found myself smiling big at each little girl as they were the cutest, sweetest little ones. In fact, every one of these girls was super sweet. this is one sport my kids or I have never really done so posing was a lesson learned and a lot the girls chose/helped with. ... Now that the holiday rush of sessions is over! I can also share all of the basketball teams I have been meeting! The outside limited sessions are done! Both weekends went amazingly! It was a little chilly with the wind, but the sun was out for the most part. 3 different set ups....and i always love seeing familiar faces, watching the kids grow is my favorite part!!... The inside holiday sessions at the Lawrenceville studio filled completely up! And we had SUCH a great day with all of the families. And lastly..my absolute FAVORITE sessions of the year....Magical Santa sessions....from digital fun to meeting the big man and Mrs Clause themselves. I've only photographed my son for hockey photos so this was a first for me! An entire hockey program! The Freeport Mini Jackets is a great program that is held here at the local Belmont Ice Rink. Its cute seeing this little ones on skates....my son is 16 so it takes me back to watching him at 3 years old learning how to skate and then at 4, learning how to play hockey.
