Great opportunity for our local businesses! Northern Lehigh Recreation is hosting their 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat event at Eagles Nest Park on October 23rd from... 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Trunk or Treat is a great family event that makes trick or treating fun and accessible for all children. Please consider joining us and setting up a trunk or treat station! You are encouraged to provide parents with information about your business or club, membership information, pamphlets, special promotions, coupons, etc. to families. Slatington Trick or Treat 2020 At tonight’s council meeting The Borough of Slatington decided to schedule Trick or Treat for Wednesday, October 28th from 6 pm t...o 8 pm, same as Walnutport, as every other year. Walnutport Borough had really great suggestions for trick or treating safely! The Borough would like to encourage all residents to be mindful of CDC guidelines during this time; maintain the suggested 6-foot social distancing standard unless you are participating as a family or group. Wear facial coverings where appropriate. If you do not want to participate simply leave your porch light off. Please only pre-wrapped candy. Be alert during this time as many children and adults will be crossing the borough streets. Be alert and abide by posted speed limits. Borough Council hopes that everyone a safe and Happy Halloween!
