Floors are finished! Off to finishing up the frame on the old 85 K20

Finally firewall is done!! Letting the paint dry then off to finishing the floor!!

Seam sealed and painted today! Floor is finally done!! Going to look a lot better when it dries. Went with semi gloss black on the bottom. Fire wall is next!!

Finally put primer on the floor!! When from completely rusted out to all new underneath!! Here are some before and after photos

Making progress!! One rocker panel is on so far! Surprised everything is fitting really good for aftermarket parts!! Getting most of my parts from LMCtruck.com. They literally have every single piece for this truck.

The 85 K20 cab is finally in the garage!! Already have all the panels to fix the driver side!! Start to do more cutting tomorrow!!

Making some more progress with the old 85 K20!! Finally the bed of the truck is back on!!! Unfortunately just ran out of welding gas... Getting more tomorrow!!

Making some more progress with the frame on the old 85 K20!! Old cross member out! New one is in!! Just about ready to put the hydraulics in for a test fit!!

Time for some frame work on the old 85 K20. Have to cut out some of the cross member in the middle to make it really strong for the dump bed kit!! Will be sand blasting the frame myself. We will see how that goes! Very excited to try out the dump bed kit!!

Supports are welded in! Now time to weld the dump bed kit in!! Can’t wait to try this thing out!

Making some progress with the old truck bed! Cut the rust out and made my own pieces for it. Now to make supports!!

The old truck bed is in better shape then I thought!! Thought the entire bottom of the bed would be rusted. Just a couple pieces are. Going to make my own braces and supports for it.

Time to flip the old bed over!! Let’s see how this goes!!

New hoist works great!! Finally got the old truck bed out from under the canopy and into the garage!! Time to throw some sparks!!

Now we have a custom gantry cane!! Cant wait to use it for the bed of my 85 K20!

The 6.0 LS engine is looking good!! What do you guys think of the color?
