Personally, I am not in fear of catching the Coronavirus. But if I did catch it what frightens me is spreading it to my customers and anyone else that might come in contact with me. Or my customers spreading it to each other, their familes, and loved ones. With that said No Bare Walls Framing Studio will be closed until Tuesday, March 31st. I will not be taking in new orders during that time. ... However, I will be working on all orders that are currently here. As I complete them I will reach out to each customer and arrange a time for pick up. My decision to close is based on prioritizing your personal safety and the safety of our community over consumerism. I apologize for any inconvenience this situation has caused you. Peace, Mark

Bob Hakun will be the featured artist with an Opening Night reception on Friday July 19, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at 41 E. Butler Ave., adjacent to Denney Electric S...upply. His artistic interests are painting, sculpture, and photography. He has won numerous awards, including Best of Show for many of his industrial primitive artistic assemblages of found objects. He collects discarded items, some are natural like bones or wood, some are man-made, like wheels or rusty wire. He looks for objects that show the graphic effects of aging, the beauty and harshness of the breaking-down over time. Objects that are burnt, broken, rusty, crushed, and bent are used as a natural narrative. His assembled artwork is intended to tell a story or convey greater than the individual items would project separately. The interpretation of that message is left to the viewer. The exhibit is lit every evening courtesy of storefront owner Denney Electric Supply. See more
