So I was writing burpees on the board today and noticed something funny. After almost 2,000 burpees in April, and yielding some very entertaining comments/complaints .... I realized (odd that I didn’t before) the actual word was made up of BURP and PEES... was that intentionally named due to the side effects for some ppl ?????

April is usually a huge road bump for many in their fitness/wellness/nutrition goals. I’d like to try and help refresh for some of you losing motivation, struggling with health/injury/etc, schedule changes, and so on. Life is a crazy, messy place right now, and balancing our personal well-being has been an extreme challenge! Let’s refocus on the difference between Excuses vs. Reasons. Is your issue/situation/statement ........ -something you have control of? -something that can be modified or overcome (even if it’s not easy)? -something you can seek assistance with if you feel you can’t achieve it alone ? ***If yes to these, You’re CHOOSING an EXCUSE!!! When you are aware that you choose an excuse, the next step is to personally DIG! Find your internal and external motivators and lean on them!!! Refocus on your WHY. Figure out how you can work through or around your excuses, or if it can be eliminated completely! Is your issue/situation/statement .... -something you have zero control of? -something that would be dangerous or unhealthy to modify or change ? -something that goes against your values or morals? ***If yes to these, you have a REASON. When you have a reason, it’s important to be aware if it’s a long term obstacle...to then reassess your goals and needs, and work on finding new routes that will bypass these reasons that hinder your success. Sometimes it can be a fine line, and allowing yourself to choose and give into excuses can start a downward spiral away from your goals and needs. If you are struggling knowing the difference, or if you aren’t sure if you’re giving yourself grace or letting yourself slide, I’m here to help you figure that out! 814-541-0129

WELLNESS WARRIOR WORKSHOP Nutrition Tracking / Planning MONDAY, JANUARY 25, 2021 6:15pm This workshop will teach you how to get the most out of very useful nutrition tools like MyFitness Pal, and will teach you some planning strategies to help lock down a more solid game plan to stick to your nutritional goals!!!!!! This is an In Person workshop, zoom is an option, but it’s highly recommended to attend so you can better view what I will be showing you.
