You know what disgusts me, on any given day there's 428,000 children in foster care in the United States. 428,000 children not with their families, most of them... go to school and just don't get to go home.Not traumatic enough to get all the attention that the children at the border are getting? Ok, 86 children died in a for profit foster care center in a span of 10 years, the death rate of children in foster care is 42 percent higher then the national average. Are the the lives of our own children not valid? Are they not deserving of all the media attention and outrage that the border children are getting? It makes me question people's intentions, is the only reason your outraged is because it's Trump that's President? Because the same shit that's happening in these camps happen on a every day basis to children in dhs care. Broken families, traumatized children, heartbroken mothers and fathers isn't just a border problem. But apparently their not worthy of the attention on the media, are giving these other children. We're quick to fix everyone else's problems but our own. See more
