Dear Friends of ACPPA: Thank you so much for your support of ACPPA Community Art Center over the years and especially this summer. Many of you invested your time and money in the Beef & Beer and the yard sale, and we are so incredibly thankful. Because of you, ACPPA was able to honor all of its financial commitments through the summer and many students had a wonderful experience at summer camp and our outreach programs. You made a difference! ... Unfortunately, despite everyone’s best efforts, ACPPA will not be able to continue to serve the Norristown community and surrounding areas after August 31st. Numerous factors led to this sad reality and it is not the fault of any one person or event. It is a great loss for us and for our community. Many ACPPA families have been meeting this summer to work toward solutions to this crisis. Their initial efforts were to keep ACPPA open but they are now working to find other ways to offer visual and performing arts classes in Norristown this fall. We may be losing ACPPA, but we have the chance to save the opportunities and values that made ACPPA important to our families and our community. If you are interested in signing students up for arts classes this fall or helping with class preparations, we invite you to sign up for a new mailing list, managed by ACPPA families. Please click here to be added to this new mailing list for those interested in fall classes: http://ow.ly/TEnU30erYFY Thank you for your continued support and love, generous contributions, and heartwarming efforts over the years to provide arts programs for our children.
