Winter Storm Watch issued for Erie and Crawford Counties from 4 PM Monday to 1 PM Wednesday. From the National Weather Service.... * WHAT...Heavy snow possible.... Snowfall in excess of 8 inches are possible. The highest accumulations will be focused where lake effect bands persist. * WHERE...Northern Erie, Southern Erie and Crawford counties. * WHEN...From Monday afternoon through Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s Monday night and remain nearly steady on Tuesday. Temperatures will fall into the upper teens by Wednesday morning. Winds will be out of the north and northwest at 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph, especially closer to Lake Erie.
