Congratulations to Connie Boyer who is the winner of the Hon. Wm. Harvey Wiest and Karen Wiest Educator of the Year Award! Shamokin Area School District is very fortunate to have a teacher like Connie.

Congratulations to the Judge Michael Kivko Scholarship recipient Zachary Gross! Zachary worked with Truancy Officer Jonah Rees due to being habitually truant at the beginning of the 2019-20 school year. However, he then did a complete turn around and ended up graduating high school in 2020. Congratulations to Gavin Thomas for winning the Juvenile Excellence Award! Gavin has overcome obstacles and made significant strides in his life as a result of services provided by Juvenile Court.
