When you designate your United Way gift to support Northwest Hospital Foundation, you are directly supporting patients who are uninsured or under-insured and without the means to pay for minor expenses related to their care. Thank you for selecting CODE # 14184881
Thank you Franklin VFW Post 1835! With their generous gift, we were able to purchase adaptive feeding equipment to help Northwest Hospital patients with eating disabilities caused by stroke, Parkinson's disease, or other disabling changes.
Sponsor a dove on the "Doves of Peace" tree in the hospital main lobby for patients and families to enjoy throughout the holiday season! Deadline is November 1. www.northwesthospitalfoundation.org
Theresa Edder, Executive Director of the @Northwest Hospital Foundation, tells us about the walking trail around UPMC Northwest in Cranberry.
Blood supplies remain low in our immediate area and the need is great. Community Blood Bank is hosting a public blood drive this week on Wednesday, Sept 2 at the Cranberry Mall 2-6 pm. Please help if you can and share the message so our family, friends and neighbors can continue to receive the life saving care they need. ... Thank you!
Thank you to the very generous and caring Medical Staff at UPMC Northwest for supporting our employees and the future of healthcare in our community!
If you or a loved one are the owner of a Donor Advised Fund (DAF), support Northwest Hospital Foundation in the #HalfMyDaf campaign. By nominating NWHF, you can DOUBLE your impact. Swipe through for more information, or visit www.halfmydaf.com.
Part of the walking trail is under construction this week. Community support for the walking trail has allowed us to add steps to the pavilion area for easier access for hospital guests.
Northwest Hospital Foundation recently provided a grant to purchase new equipment to perform radio frequency ablation (RFA) procedures. Barry Cressman of Titusville was suffering from chronic back and knee pain and was steered to the new technology by Dr. Kyle Shilk at UPMC Northwest. The procedure completely relieved the pain, allowing Cressman to resume a normal, busy, pain-free life, including a much anticipated return to the golf course.
Please consider giving blood during the emergency blood drive June 9th at the Cranberry Mall and help patients in our local area.
