Wishing you and your loved ones a safe and healthy Christmas from all of us at NovaCare!

I choose NovaCare because I really liked the one-on-one experience, the encouragement, drive and motivation to get me back to doing what I love the most. After 14-year-old Kylie was injured playing soccer last fall, she began pre-surgical rehabilitation with Andrew Miller, P.T., DPT, at our Alliance, OH location. Following ACL reconstruction surgery, Kylie worked tirelessly with Andrew to ensure she would be able to return to soccer for her upcoming season. After months of physical therapy, Kylie was back on the soccer field just in time for her freshman season!

There is nothing better than cozying up with a warm blanket on a cold winter’s day. Tonia Conover, P.T., center manager of our Haddon Heights, NJ location, has done an amazing job spreading warmth this holiday season through the Keep them Warm campaign. Through this campaign, Tonia is delivering donated blankets to the less fortunate and homeless members of the surrounding communities. Thank you, Tonia, for serving our community in such a wonderful way!

Join us in congratulating NovaCare’s Veronica Burnazaki, certified hand therapist (CHT), on being recognized by Salus University for her dedication to the occupational therapy profession! She earned the special recognition by demonstrating her passion for hand therapy by hosting fieldwork students and sharing her experience and clinical knowledge. Veronica has been a CHT since 2016 and sees patients at our Cedarbrook and Soudertown locations.

My recovery from COVID-19 and its lingering effects has been a long four months. In the beginning, I passed out and took a severe fall fracturing my leg. In the ICU, I remember having a severe cough and being bed ridden. Finally, arriving at physical therapy I started in a wheelchair and then slowly began to use a walker. Now, four months later, the professional, encouraging and kind people at NovaCare have me walking with a cane and given me hope for future independence. It... is impossible to thank all the doctors, nurses, aides and therapists who brought my through this ordeal, but I do with all my heart. After battling COVID-19, our former patient Cynthia turned to Kelly Foedinger, P.T., DPT, at our Broomall, PA location for physical therapy. Through our Recovery and Reconditioning Program, Kelly was able to guide Cynthia through a variety of exercises that helped her regain her strength. We’re so proud our team could help Cynthia recover!
