We have some exciting news to share! NTIEC is one of a handful of nonprofits being selected to participate in a matching opportunity for NEPA Gives on Friday, June 4, 2021! This is the second year of NEPA Gives and it is looking to be the biggest with the inclusion of more rural nonprofits such as ours! Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation will be one of our matching donors and we couldn't be more thankful for their support! Please consider donating towards our mission of career edu...cation programs for over 20 school districts across the northern tier. The funding from this initiative will help offset costs of our 3 week-long summer camps for 2021 and additional programs to support our students! Mark your calendars - June 4th from 12:00am to 11:59pm the link will be open for donations!

The giving season is here and NTIEC donated to Susquehanna County Interfaith in Montrose as a part of their Christmas Bureau! Interfaith is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing hope and helping families in need right here in Susquehanna County! This year, Interfaith is hosting a tag drive to grant wishes for children in the area. Each tag is a Christmas wish from a child in need. All you need to do is take a tag or two, and buy a gift! Return the unwrapped gift to Interfaith in Montrose and make a child’s Christmas wish come true!

COUNTDOWN TO GIVING TUESDAY Northern Tier Industry & Education Consortium (NTIEC) is a local grassroots organization founded in 1993 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit school-to-work organization to serve students in the Northern Tier counties of Pennsylvania by integrating the education and employment processes. Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving, occurs the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The purpose of Giving Tuesday is to give back to local communities. AllOne Charities has graciou...sly partnered with NTIEC among other organizations to help raise money for local nonprofits. The AllOne Charities Giving Tuesday website will go live on Thanksgiving Day and remain open until Wednesday, December 2nd at 4:00 pm. If NTIEC reaches their goal of $1,000, AllOne Charities will match it with $1,000. In addition, if we meet our goal of $1,000, the Energy Education Fund from Cabot Oil & Gas will independently match it with $1,000! Donating is easy... just click on the link and complete the donation form https://formstack.io/8DCDB. If you would prefer to send a check, please make it payable to AllOne Charities and in the subject line write "NTIEC". Mail it to NTIEC, PO Box 200, Dimock, PA 18816. No amount is too small, and every penny helps us continue to build Pennsylvania's workforce and help students succeed in their careers. NTIEC would like to thank you for your donation in advance. We would not be able to help today's youth like we do without your support! For questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at 570-278-5038 or at [email protected].
