Dispatched to assist Dorrance VFD @ Blue Ridge Trail - Motor vehicle incident. Engine 1 responded to scene.

Dispatched to assist Wright VFD, Azalea Dr Rice Twp - Brush fire in the woods, tree & wires down, live power lines sparking is causing the fire. Wright engine on scene will handle the call, waiting on PPL to shut off the power, all other departments returned to service.

Dispatched to assist Wright VFD in Rice Twp - I81S Off-ramp, brush fire in the woods between the gas station & the treatment plant. Engine 1 responded to scene.

Dispatched to assist Wright Twp VFD @ Rice Twp, Pine View Estates - Residential Fire alarm activation. Engine 1 responded, requested by Wright command to stage @ Rice Twp municipal bldg. Staged & then released by command.

Dispatched in the Borough - Willow Grove St, tree on wires. Tree was cleared but the wires are low - PP&L dispatched to rehang the wires. The lower end of Willow Grove will be closed to traffic until the wires are rehung, please use Vandermark Ave to access Willow Grove St.

Dispatched to assist Wright Twp VFD - Northbound MM160.2 - reported vehicle fire. Interstate checked by Wright unit, disabled vehicle no fire. All units cleared.

Dispatched to assist Wright VFD - Rice Elementary School, multiple alarms reported at the building. Engine 1 responded, requested by command to stage at the lake for a tanker fill site. Issue found to be electrical, power is out to the building - no active fire. E1 released by Wright command & returned to service.

Dispatched to assist Dorrance Township - Blue Ridge Trail, Confirmed residential structure fire. Tanker & Engine 1 responded into scene.

RESIDENTS: Please note that the polling place for election day has returned to the regular location @ the Grove Building in the Borough. It is not at Rice Elem...entary - that was a temporary change for the primary due to C-19 - only Rice Township residents will be voting at the elementary school. See more

The members of the White Haven Fire Co. #1 are sadden by the news of the passing of Gary Shupp. Gary served our community as Police Chief for many years with ho...nor, pride and dedication. Gary was also a member of our Dept and helped selflessly with many fundraising events including our Carnival. Anyone would agree that Gary’s commitment to community service is second to none.
