Oakwood Photo + Video

Starting to put feelers out for someone who wants to be a part of the Oakwood team! Here's some preliminary info: MUST be reliable, available for approx. 15-20 Saturdays (or occasional Fridays/Sundays) a year, be passionate about photography/and possibly videography, and must willing to learn/adapt to our style of shooting. Most of our weddings are in the Butler/Cranberry/Pittsburgh area, some a bit further south of the city towards the Seven Springs area. Preference would b...e to find someone local to Venango County so we can easily train, work together on occasional weekdays (evenings) with training and other tasks, and that can ride along with us to weddings, but that's negotiable. We’re hoping to find someone to be with Oakwood long-term. The ideal fit would be someone who doesn’t want to deal with the business & scheduling side of weddings, but loves photography! Our goal is to eventually have the new team member trained so we can send them to separate weddings once we all feel comfortable with doing so. I ran around Oil City with Sara + Kyle today and I *think* they may have had a little fun. How cute are they!?

So cool! WeddingWire shared one of my photos on their Instagram account that has close to 1 million followers yesterday.

Revealing this studio for a second time because whew. We built this studio from scratch in 2016 and it’s been an ongoing project ever since. I’ve talked about it in my stories, but when we started our house build in early 2019, my studio became storage for building supplies and I was unable to really use it until now. It feels so good to have it functional again and looking more beautiful than ever.

I had so much fun taking Maddie’s senior pictures today. She had a really cool vision for her session and I can’t wait to share more.

I had so much fun photographing Taylor + Tim this afternoon. We started at the gorgeous rotunda at the Pennsylvanian and ended the session taking in the final colors of fall at Allegheny Commons Park.
