Of the Woods Hydrangea and Peony Farm

The peonies are coming up great. Anxious to see the field in bloom. A couple buds are getting bigger. Shouldn't be much longer before the first peony, Roselette, is blooming. Potted peonies are available for planting in your gardens. The hydrangeas are doing well too. These can be dug for transplanting or taken home in pots. The farm is open weekends 9-4 both Sat. and Sun. Other hours are by appointment.

Hydrangeas are looking sad at this time of year. Do your best not to trim any of the live stalks. There may by stalks that are hollow, these could be cut off at the base. They may also break off when pulled. Consider using a bloom boosting fertilizer throughout the season. Follow direction on the packaging. It won't be too much longer before we start seeing growth.
