Vendor(s) still wanted. We are looking for one or two vendors to occupy our soda fountain area with NON FOOD ITEMS. Maybe a vinyl record dealer or a country store collectibles dealer. Something that will compliment the existing fountain decor so we don’t have to dismantle it. Unfortunately, we will not be opening the fountain for food or desserts anytime soon. We enjoyed the run but no longer a practical use. ... Call Laura if interested in seeing the space. 717-834-9333.

We love old postcards. So many styles and categories were printed since the 19th century. Real Photo, Chrome, Linen are just a few types. You can find a nice variety throughout Old Sled Works. Did you know there is a term for studying and collecting postcards? It’s called Deltiology. And postcard collectors are called deltiologists. (Learned something new. ) We especially like old roadside postcards, gas stations, diners, city street scenes with old cars, tourist ...attractions, and early motels. Most in our collection are unused, but we do have several with messages written by the sender and visible postmarks that can be interesting. The early 1970’s postcard image shown here makes us laugh a little. Why? Sorry to say, it’s downright ugly. Photography is terrible. We aren’t even sure whether it’s upside down. If it didn’t have a description on the other side, we’d have difficulty figuring it out. We just can’t get ourselves to throw it out. Any guesses what this muddled mess is?
