Old Academy Players Carfax Building (next to the theater) 3540 Indian Queen Lane Philadelphia, PA 19129 . Old Academy Players welcomes new talent! Please note that we are a non-profit community theater and that all roles are performed on a volunteer basis . Auditions will be conducted in Carfax, the building next to the theater, because it is easily ventilated. If it becomes crowded, people can wait outside. Everyone will remain masked and distant except when people are reading together, when they will stand 15 apart and lower their masks. It is our expectation that everyone involved in this production will be fully vaccinated by the time rehearsals start. We have no understudies, and so cannot risk any of our actors becoming ill. In addition, some of our actors are children, and we cannot ask them to rehearse or perform with adults who are not vaccinated. We want to be able to say that we are a fully vaccinated company. Audition Requirements: 5 African-American females (one is a child) 3 white females (one is a child) 1 African-American man 2 white men Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
