Many people in the myo community tend to hyperfocus on tongue posture as being the MAIN thing that influences palatal development.... But... Proper development of the palate happens because of MANY things happening simultaneously, such as growth of the cranial base pushing the palate downward and forward.... In breastfeeding infants, for example, the tongue and mom's nipple press upward and are counterbalanced by nasal airflow pressing downward.... This causes TRANSVERSE development to happen. We saw this handsome dude for a 4 month follow up today, and his rest posture looks FANTASTIC!!!
