Spring is here and it’s time to wish our wonderful customers a Happy Easter! In addition to being thrilled that winter is almost over we are very excited to celebrate our 25th Anniversary! In April of 1996 Mary Jo Culbertson opened On the Diamond Antiques at 110 East Main Street in Ligonier PA. On Saturday April 10th we will celebrate this Anniversary by offering 15% off our entire inventory. Customers may also register to win a $50 gift certificate for the store and pick up a complimentary pack of sunflower seeds, while supplies last! Lots of new vintage and antique garden items fresh in today from a massive old garden in McKeesport! We have everything from a vintage bird bath to a cut out horse off the side of their barn. Join us this weekend for the Ligonier Ice Festival Saturday and Sunday 11-5. At the shop this months featured dealer is Becky Smith. Becky has made the Ligonier Valley her home for many years. She opened her original shop The Wooden Bobbin in Ligonier in 1992. There she used creativity to combine found objects and Antiques to imagine many one of a kind items. She is now part of On The Diamond Antiques where she has recently expanded her space and taken over our entire back room! So now you can shop The Wooden Bobbin at On the Diamond Antiques! We are located at 110 East Main and we are open every day except Monday and Tuesday 11 to 5. Stop in and say hello!

It’s a busy week in Ligonier! Tonight is the second country market (5-8 pm) around the Diamond. So today we are open til 8 pm. Friday and Saturday is the Arts and Crafts show around the Diamond from 9-5. Come out and see what’s happening! We just brought in some 1880’s architectural pieces made of terra-cotta from the facade of an early Pittsburgh building, as well as some vintage concrete cherubs. Great for the garden!

I thought it would be nice to introduce you to the dealers in our multi dealer shop at On The Diamond Antiques at 110 East main st. This month we feature Michelle and Vince Kosker long time residents of the Ligonier Valley who have been selling vintage clothing for almost 30 years. Wow! They specialize in women’s dresses of various vintages. Our shop offers a wide selection of their ladies accessories and related items. They have more at other locations such as Graham’s Antiq...ue Mall and The Hub in North Versailles! They participate in events All over the East Coast as well as the Midwest. They are always looking to buy quality clothing items in good condition from the 1950’s and before. Michelle and Vince can also be found on their Facebook page Bustles to Boho. Happy 4th of July! On the Diamond Antiques will be open 10-2 this Saturday. New items include an old western saddle with beautiful leather work, a grandmother clock and a few fox hunting prints from the 19th century. Oil paintings and even a beautifully mounted pheasant and those are just a few of the items that came in recently! Our normal hours are Monday through Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 11-5 we are closed Tuesdays. We will also be open till 8 for the night market. We hope to see you soon!

Hello everybody! It’s so nice to see you all again! I wanted to let you know the Country Market is coming to the Diamond and we will have the shop open for your shopping pleasure till 9 pm! Below is the information from the Country Market website! We are proud to announce the NEW Ligonier Country Night Market. This is a joint effort with the Ligonier Country Market and the Ligonier Chamber of Commerce. It will be held on the 3rd Thursday of the month from June - October. T...his will be an abridged version of the traditional Saturday Market. IT WILL BE HELD ON THE LIGONIER DIAMOND with approximately 40 vendors. The focus of this Market will be on produce and processed foods (jarred items, cheese, meats, etc...) We hope you take the opportunity to eat in town and shop the local merchants.
