National PT Month Staff Spotlight Santo Laquatra is the newest staff member of our team. As a physical therapy technician, he will welcome you and guide you through your visits with us and he will keep our clinic clean and safe. Santo’s background included a degree in kinesiology which gives him an edge on understanding the movements you must make here in therapy. Santo enjoys working out, movies, concerts, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins and outdoor recreational activities like zip-lining and kayaking. You cannot see his smile in this photo but you will feel it when you meet him.

National PT Month Staff Spotlight: Jackie Murcko,DPT is one of our physical therapists at OPTSP. She takes an enthusiastic approach with all of her patients who appreciate her positive, can do attitude and effective skills at educating them about their health issue. Jackie brings special expertise in the areas of spinal care, interventions for gymnasts and dancers and treatment for dizziness/vertigo. She and her husband Ty live in Cranberry with their two young children who k...eep them very busy. In her free time, Jackie enjoys reading, cooking, movies, and hanging out with her large extended family and friends. Why did you become a PT? I was a competitive gymnast and dancer for many years, suffered injuries and had physical therapy myself. I was hooked ever since. The combination of helping people feel better, teaching about the body and how it works was what I was meant to do. Any professional mantra you bring to your work? I’m an encourager by nature so I just try to encourage people through hard times and stay as positive as I can. See more
