Ordained Elder Phila. Cong. of Yahweh since 1981

Greetings to all in Yahshua's name. I would like to tell you how I became an ordained elder in the Philadelphia Congregations of Yahweh. It was back in 1981 when a small handful of us left another assembly which used the Holy names of Yahweh and Yahshua. There was a disagreement over doctrine and we were asked to leave. We began meeting in my house in Philadelphia Pa. every Sabbath. We started to grow but then the neighborhood became evil and it was not good for brethren to ...worship there on Sabbath because they had to walk down the street and there were differences of doctrine and several of the brethren left to another location just outside of the city. Most of the group were Spanish speaking brethren and my wife had to translate each sermon. Then there came a day when it was mentioned that the congregation had to have a noted leader for others to know who might come and visit. So, it went like this; Prayers were said and Lots were cast and my name came out of the lots three times. Then I sat in a chair to be ordained and prayers were said and oil was poured down over my head and ran down. I was now ordained as the Overseer for the Philadelphia Congregations of Yahweh. (In the previous assembly my wife and I were Consecrated Missionaries. I have been studying and learning the bible previously to all of this since 1970.) I never liked to say that I was an Elder when we moved to the Frystown Pa. area. I just considered myself as Brother because I read a scripture about placing titles on a person, it is in Job 32:21-22, so I kept a low profile and since I did that none of the assemblies recognized me as an Elder. They don't even know who the Philadelphia Congregation of Yahweh is. What I have just told you is in brief, there is more to the history but too long to mention. I would like to hear form you all about anything you would like to talk about and maybe I will have some answers. I do not claim to know it all. You have the right to disagree but behave yourself.
